An interesting tour that takes you to historical points of the old city as to the modern and the financial district. We will also go to the Miraflores locks to see how the Panama Canal operates.
The tour begins with a visit to Panama La Vieja, a walk through the first city founded by the spaniards in the Pacific, and its museum. Journey continues through the modern part of the city from the financial district, Punta Paitilla and Balboa Avenue, to the historic center. You will also visit Plaza de la Independencia (World Heritage Site), Metropolitan Cathedral, Plaza de Francia, Bóvedas and Plaza Bolívar. Optional lunch at a local restaurant. After that, you continue to the Miraflores locks and its new Visitor Center, where you can appreciate the operation of the Panama Canal. You can see the ships moving through the locks and enjoy the high level audio-visual technology that explains its operation. The tour continues visiting Albrook former military base, nowadays a beautiful residential and commercial area. Visit the area of the Administration Building Balboa, the Port, and what is now the most popular touristic area, Causeway (Causeway). Back to the hotel.
