A handmade itinerary thinking on those who want to discover what´s beyond beaches, the keys and the highlights of Havana. The biggest wars of our history were fought on the eastern side of the country and the different cultural influences collide in cities that could have perfectly been token from a colonial history book.

Day 1 - CAMAGÜEY

Check in at a private house. Departure at 5.00pm to enjoy the city tour "Welcome Camagüey", a bike tour through the five foundational squares of the historic center of the city, visit to the model of the city, dinner in a Paladar restaurant and entrance fee to the House of the Trova and a welcome coocktail

Day 2 - CAMAGÜEY

Breakfast. Departure at 9.00am for a tour to "Finca Campesina" which includes horse riding, tour of the fields and lunch. At 4:00 pm enjoy the "From the Land to the Fire" tour, visit the pottery workshop of the Casanova family where you can witness the clay modeling and build your own clay pot. Free night.

Day 3 - CAMAGÜEY - BAYAMO - SANTIAGO DE CUBA

Breakfast in private home of Camagüey. At 9:00 am departure to the city of Bayamo. City tour on foot "Welcome to Bayamo", walk through the center of the city, visit to the Cathedral and the Hymn Square, Boulevard, Wax Museum. Departure at 3.00pm to the city of Santiago de Cuba. At 4.30pm. Check in private house in Santiago de Cuba. Departure at 5.00pm for a city tour on foot "Welcome to Santiago", tour of important places of the culture and history of the city of Santiago de Cuba such as the house of the Conquistador Diego Velázquez, Enramadas street, the viewpoint of the city, Alameda Michelson and / or Moncada Barracks. Free night.

Day 4 - SANTIAGO DE CUBA

Breakfast. Departure at 9.00am to enjoy a nature excursion with lunch included in the Gran Piedra-Baconao (elevation at 1232 meters above sea level). During the ascent you will be able to observe endemic species of the area, enjoy a beautiful view of the Caribbean Sea, visit the botanical garden Bird of Paradise and taste of a traditional Cuban coffee in the Museum of the French Coffee Ruin of 1808 ¨La Isabelica¨ declared Heritage of the Humanity by UNESCO. At the end of the tour you will enjoy a Creole lunch in front of the sea and time for bathing in the warm waters of the Caribbean Sea. Free night.

Day 5 - SANTIAGO DE CUBA

Breakfast. Departure at 9.00am for the "History and Folklore in Santiago" tour. The tour includes a visit to the Morro Fortress, Santa Iphigenia Cemetery, La Loma de San Juan, Vista Alegre, and La Plaza de la Revolucion and enjoy a folkloric representation of French origin. Lunch included overlooking the beautiful bay of Santiago de Cuba. Boat trip on the bay and visit to Granma Key. Free night.

Day 6 - BARACOA

Breakfast. Departure at 9.00am to Baracoa passing the extraordinary Viaduct La Farola. Time for lunch and check in private house in Baracoa. Departure at 2.00pm to enjoy the "Welcome to Baracoa" tour, a tour of the first villa founded by the Spanish in Cuba, with a visit to the fortresses of the city, time for bathing in the Duaba River or the Toa River . Free night.

Day 7 - BARACOA

Breakfast. Departure at 9.00am for the "Yumurí - Punta de Maisí" tour. Departure to Punta de Maisí, until arriving at the town of Maisí, visit the imposing Faro de Punta de Maisí at the eastern end of the island of Cuba. On return, time for bathing in the river or in some of the beaches of the area, to choose by the client. Free night.

Day 8 - HOLGUIN

Breakfast. Departure at 9.00am to the city of Holguin. Visit to the National Park "Alejandro de Humbolt". Trail of 3 km by tropical forest, until you reach the waterfall of the Santa Maria River where you can enjoy time for bathing. Continuation of travel. Check in private house in Holguín. Departure at 5.00 pm for a city tour on foot "Welcome to Holguín". Tour of the main parks and buildings representative of the historic center of the city, up to the Loma de la Cruz from where you will enjoy a beautiful panoramic view of the city and its surroundings. Free night.

Day 9 - HOLGUIN

Breakfast. Departure at 9.00am to enjoy the "Bariay" tour. Tour of the bay where Admiral Christopher Columbus landed for the first time in Cuba. The tour includes a ride on horseback or by car. Visit to typical country house and the memorial of the 500 years of the discovery of America. Visit to the archaeological museum. Enjoy an Aboriginal dance show. Lunch at Paladar restaurant. Time for bathing in Guardalavaca beach. Free night.

Day 10 - HOLGUIN

Breakfast. Departure at 9.00am for Excursion to Gibara or Excursion to Birán, at the customer's choice. Excursion to Gibara: Gibara is a small town with a peculiar charm, the place retains its architectural heritage treasured for almost two centuries and a rich history of traditions. During the tour you will visit on foot the small fishing village, the Museum of Natural History and the Cave of the Bakers. Lunch included. Free night. Excursion to Birán: Departure to the Historical Complex of Birán, declared National Monument, where the Christmas House of Fidel and Raúl is located. Lunch included. Free night.

Day 11 - HOLGUIN

Breakfast. Transfer to the airport to board flight departure from the country according to the flight program.

This exciting adventure starts in the eastern province of Camaguey, a city founded in the early 16th century and known as the city of “tinajones” (jars). Then you´ll move to Santiago de Cuba visiting Bayamo and ends the adventure in Holguin with an overnight in Baracoa. What can you expect of this itinerary? A lot of sightseeing and cultural brushes, you will able of admiring different styles of architecture, the way people talk and express themselves depending on the territory, you will visit coffee plantations, memorials, and legendary cemeteries, but also a lot of bird watching and wildlife recognition. This is the perfect experience to know Cuba from a different point of view.
