Program Description:
Day 1 - (Monday) Havana Airport – Havana hotel
Arrival at International Airport in Havana. Transfer to Havana hotel. Accommodation in Hotel Comodoro. Dinner at the hotel.
Day 2 -(Tuesday) Havana (60 kms)
Breakfast. City Tour of Old and Modern Havana, including visit to Morro Castle, Rum and Captain Generals museum. Lunch at a local restaurant. Accommodation in Comodoro. Dinner in the hotel. Optional: Tropicana Show or Parisien Show.
Day 3 -(Wednesday) Havana – Viñales – Havana (410 Km)
Breakfast. Departure on a day excursion to Viñales, this is located in Pinar del Rio Province at 140 Km west approximately from Havana. This is where the best tobacco of the world is grown and harvested. In Pinar del Rio, a brief visit to the city that includes a visit to a cigars factory so the clients have the chance of learning the manual process of cigars production. After the visit, continue the journey to Viñales. This place has the oldest geological formations in Cuba and has a Valley which landscape is unique in the world. The clients will visit a lookout point to Viñales Valley and the Prehistory Mural which is a huge painting on the rock in one of the sides of a hill describing the evolution of mankind. After those visits, visit to the Indian cave, here the clients will walk inside a cave and at the end of the lighted path in the cave there is a subterranean river, tThe clients will be taken by boat to the other side of the mountain coming out of the cave. This is a very impressive view of a cave with its formation. Lunch at the restaurant. After lunch free time . Back to Havana. Accommodation in Hotel Comodoro. Dinner at hotel.
Day 4 - (Thursday) Havana – Guamá - Cienfuegos – Trinidad (440 Km)
Breakfast. Departure to Trinidad, on the way visit Fiesta Campesina and Crocodile farm. Lunch at a local restaurant. Continue to Cienfuegos, City tour including: Parque Marti and El Prado. Continue to Costa Sur Hotel in Trinidad. Accommodation and Dinner in Costa Sur (AI).
Day 5 - (Friday) – Trinidad (90 kms)
Breakfast. Departure for City Tour in Trinidad including visits to
Romantic Museum, Canchanchara Bar. Lunch at El Cubano Park. In the afternoon: Excursion in El Cubano Park. Accommodation and Dinner in Costa Sur Hotel (AI).
Day 6 - (Saturday) Trinidad – Sancti Spiritus - Camagüey (254 kms)
Breakfast. Departure to Sancti Spiritus, passing by Valle de los Ingenios, time to take pictures in Lookout point, brief tour in Sancti Spiritus. Continue the journey to Camagüey, lunch at a local restaurant on the way. Brief City tour in Camagüey including San Juan de Dios Square, Worker’s Square. Accommodation and Dinner in Hotel Gran Hotel Camagüey or similar.
Day 7 - (Sunday) Camagüey – Bayamo- Santiago de Cuba (327 Kms)
Breakfast. Departure to Bayamo. City Tour including Casa de la trova and Paseo. Lunch at a local restaurant. Accommodation and Dinner at Hotel Casagranda.
Day 8 - (Monday) Santiago (50 Kms)
Breakfast. City tour of Santiago de Cuba. Visits to Antonio Maceo Revolution Square, Museum 26 of July (panoramic view), Céspedes Square, Cuban Historical Ambient Museum, Velazquez Balcony and the Morro Castle. Lunch in the area. In the afternoon visit to El Cobre Church. Accommodation at Casagranda. Free time in the afternoon to walk through the city. Accommodation at Hotel Casa Granda. Dinner at Hotel. After dinner enjoy show at Santiago Café. (Optional).
Day 9 -(Tuesday) Santiago - Holguin (348 kms)
Depart to Holguin. Brief city tour of Holguin Visit Aldea Taina and Chorro de Maita, archaeological site. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant. Accommodation and Dinner in Mirador de Mayabe or El Bosque hotel.
Day 10 -(Wednesday) Holguin – Santa Clara (472 kms)
Breakfast. Depart to Santa Clara. Lunch at a local Restaurant in Sancti Spiritus. City Tour of Santa Clara, visit Che Guevara Mansoleum. Accommodation and dinner in La Granjita or Los Caneyes Hotel.
Day 11 - (Thursday) Santa Clara – Varadero (225 Kms) or Havana (280 Kms)
Departure to Havana airport or Varadero Hotels for extension.
